Appointment of a new general manager at Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta

Gökhan Gürcan, who has been serving as the General Manager of Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta since 2010, is handing over to Atilla Benli as of September 1, 2023.

In addition to his role as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta since 2021, Gökhan Gürcan will continue to hold the position of CEO of Bupa Turkey.

Atilla Benli has been appointed as the new General Manager of Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta, the only insurance company specializing in health insurance. Atilla Benli will assume his duties on September 1, 2023.

Before his new role at Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta, Atilla Benli served as the Vice Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Türkiye Sigorta and Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik.

Gökhan Gürcan, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Bupa Turkey, stated both internally and on his social media accounts, "At Bupa Turkey, we are dedicated to expanding in both the insurance and healthcare services sectors. Now, it is time for another significant organizational change. To enhance our capabilities in line with our potential, I am passing on the role of General Manager of Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta, which I have carried out with great enthusiasm, belief, and happiness for the past 13.5 years, to Atilla Benli as of September 1. After September 1, 2023, I will continue to be with you in the capacity of "Chairman of the Board," overseeing strategic coordination, managing the journey of corporate development in the areas where we have completed virtual structuring, designing the integration between companies under the umbrella of Bupa Turkey, and being responsible for the execution of Bupa Turkey's strategies and goals.
