Bupa Türkiye employees supported the Healthy Cities program by taking 6 thousand steps a day throughout September. The Healthy Cities program, which Bupa runs globally in many countries, aims to encourage people to adopt long-term healthy habits in their daily lives while also contributing to the well-being of people in cities by promoting a natural way of life.
Underlining that the 6 thousand steps project within the scope of Healthy Cities will enable the implementation of an important corporate social responsibility project for children in the earthquake zone, Deputy General Manager who is responsible for Human Resources Ebru Keskin Kulalar said “The program has previously been successfully implemented in Europe and Latin America as well. As Bupa Turkey, we aimed to take 6 thousand steps every day by joining forces with all our employees with the Healthy Cities program carried out globally. As a result of the productive sustainability event we held in September, with 885 of our employees, we took a total of 126,573,300 steps within one month. We made these efforts to not only maintain our own healthy lifestyles but also to contribute to laying the foundations for a sustainable future. With the successful step performance achieved as a result of the project, we will implement an important social responsibility project to improve the lives of earthquake victims and contribute to the region's redevelopment.”
Bupa Türkiye, distinguished by its sustainability projects in the field of integrated healthcare services, supports individuals in being active every day and supports its employees in working towards a longer, healthier, and happier world.
